Fantastic photos, Tomasz! The music was interesting, as well. Such a barren place, especially with landscape features like 'Valley of the Moon' and 'Valley of Death' - well named... They must be universal concepts, as not far from here is the reputed 'hottest place on Earth', our own Death Valley, CA. But the last Valley of the Moon I visited was high in the tree covered mountains, with a stream running through it, and many bears and racoons. It was handy, being 500' from my house.

The top menu bar leads to other pages... the one on the far right has, in the lower right cell, a link to a couple of Polynesian tunes. The dancers right next to them are fairly lovely, as well.

Excellent Pics Tomasz ! They are as good as anything I have ever seen in a Nat Geographic, [ Thats a compliment, OK ]. I've always wanted to visit Easter Island, for some silly reason. I've visited Pantagonia from the Argentina side, and your Pics from there bring back fond memories. Thank you. Well, then, come visit! If you liked the landscape there, you'll love Bullhead City:laugh: But hurry - it's warming up. At the current rate we'll start hitting the 100s (~40C) within a few weeks, and it won't cool down again until November. And bring gobs of quarters (.25USD)- nine casinos and rising!

LOL, i didn't expect someone here at CP would have ever heard of Slovenia let alone wanted to visit it. I hope you'll enjoy your holiday. Unfortunately, August is probably not the best time for a visit, especially if you're planning to stay on the coast most of the time (it is crowded with tourists ;P). The main cities appear deserted since most of the locals are on vacation at that time too. The best month would be September i guess. Anyway, have fun. :)
