helpless katrina victims

Blaming all the wrong that happened on our president is just ignorant. All levels of government failed before and after Katrina - New Orleans didn't evacuate its residents properly (remember the video showing hundreds of school buses submerged in water?), Lousiana didn't send its Nation Guard soon enough, and FEMA failed to coordinate help properly. But lets face it, Katrina is probably the worst natural disaster to hit the US in years and there was no way that any of the help involved could have been completely prepared for such a disaster. You certainly are entitled to your opinion, but next time why don't you try to back it with some facts or opinions that state why you think what you do.

kgaddy ,i actually got that pic as an attachment .. and i actually dont need to care its source. if its funny, it is to laugh and not to trace its source. but i think i shouldn't have connected this to katrina, which made the pic loose its fun. regards, V

If you really meant it for "just fun" you shoud have disclosed that it was a fake. If you did not know, then you do now. I wonder, is it as funny once you know it's a fake????

The theme i actually meant was "bush attending the phone wrong".., i just posted the message i got from a mail, which i should have modified . eitherways i didn't mention anything bad about the victims, i just cant laugh at people suffering. [compelled to mention] here in our office we've donated a day salary, which we didn't for the mumbai's similar disaster. but what i find bad is the group behaviour of people, once i've said what i posted was worng , one should have the courtesy to give me a leeway . finding one post against the thread, they just follow suit, instead of have a look at the apology.
