    Saturn will "vanish" behind the Moon on Wednesday, Feb. 20th That should be an interesting event as it's easy to observe it with unarmed eye (but some optics are recommended, even a simple binocular will do)...

          What is really kewl about this is that you'll be able to see the rings with a small telescope. I'm unsure whether this facility will be available for us in the Sothern Hemisphere still. It's a good idea to subscribe to space news to keep upto date with whats happening. Regardz Colin J Davies

The massive effect the sun has on our planet is immeasuably superior to any distant planetary or stella alignment.
