What are you doing this weekend? It's going to be a very long weekend for me. My train to Coimbatore (which is where my family lives) leaves in another 2 hours. I'm taking Monday off since Tuesday is a holiday here (Durga Pooja). 4 whole days with my family! I plan to read a book or two there, and spend the rest of the time lazing around. ;) Cheers, Vikram.

Here in Canada, Monday is a holiday, Thanksgiving Day. I plan to eat a lot of turkey on Sunday. There will also be liquid refreshments a plenty. :) The best part though is that my two daughters who are away at university will both be home for the weekend. We will watch silly movies and generally make each other laugh and cry. Family life can be a lot of fun. :) Chris Meech I am Canadian. I cannot take anything the Bush administration does seriously. The corruption, the cynical disregard for humanity, the cronyism and incompetence, all wrapped in a slimey flag of ultra-marketed nationalism repulses me. -- consdubya from fark.com.

I have a date tonight; and nothing else really planed for the next 3 days, might buy some new curtains for the bay window, and do a bit of house cocooning.

Going to the Opera tonight, having some friends over for dinner Saturday night, and enjoying the first cool fall weather. The highs are down from 108 to 68.

Going out with a close friend for lunch and drinks tomorrow afternoon, building a wooden planter from some wood leftover after building my deck, some web designing, chores around the house, catch up on some reading, and watch a little football(American kind). Should be nice and relaxing  Enjoy your trip! BW

I'm going to run this[^] tomorrow morning, and then help my neighbor move in the afternoon. Sunday, I'm hoping to have a Dad/daughter afternoon with my 14 year-old.
