Starcraft? Warcraft 3? If you don't mean Real Time Strategy, then you may want to check out one of the Civilization games or maybe Alpha Centauri...

Picture a huge catholic cathedral. In it there's many people, including a gregorian monk choir. You know, those who sing beautifully. Then they start singing, in latin, as they always do: "Ad hominem..." -Jörgen Sigvardsson

Even the RTS games with naval and space forces always seem to be weak on the kind of naval/spaceship combat that I want to play. I still like playing the 'Begin' Tactical Starship Simulator[^]', although I still prefer to play the text version of the game as it has a more 'Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan' kind of feel. Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates version 2525 If you can find a copy of it. "Art doesn't want to be familiar. It wants to astonish us. Or, in some cases, to enrage us. It wants to move us. To touch us. Not accommodate us, make us comfortable." -- Jamake Highwater Toasty0.com My Grandkids

The above suggestions are good if you like real time strategy, if you like turn based however, Space Empires and Master Of Orion are the best

I'm not trying to post anonymous. There is some sort of glitch in the Lounge that is causing this. In other forums I show up just fine.:-O "Art doesn't want to be familiar. Actualy I was looking for a game where the battles where strategy, not simply a lot of ships that you send into the fight. The one and only Niklas Ulvinge aka IDK
