I'm thinking about buying this[^] book. Have you read it? Suggestions, alternatives would be great. -- modified at 6:08 Tuesday 11th October, 2005

Get it. It's a very good book.

The man who smiles when things go wrong has thought of someone he can blame it on. If you tell a man there are 300 billion stars in the universe, he'll believe you. But if you tell him a bench has just been painted, he'll have to touch it to be sure.

No self respecting person would call himself a 'programmer/developer' without having read this book. It is definitely one of the 'must read' books in the world of software development.

I own, and have read, his first edition. I have also communicated with Mr. McConnell a few times via e-mail. Very friendly person.
