That's right - 100 push-ups - 5 sets of the following 25x twist sit-ups 15x crunches with legs held out at 45-60 degree angle 15x leg-ups (don't what you call it - lay on back and alternate raising legs up but never let them touch the ground on thewya down) 20x push-up no breaks between different exercises, and next to no break between sets. all accompianed by Van Halen's 1984 album. And now I can barely move my arms -ouch :) [edit] I should put this in perspective, and why I am kind of excited. I started exercising seriously again this past June, after almost 12 years of little to no exercise. When I started in JUne I could barely do 5 push-ups. And even when I was in shape for cycling/running I could never (or never made myself) do 100 push-ups. So I am kind of pleased :) ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! nice work man! I've just started exercising after a long layoff from it myself. One thing I've noticed is that my mind feels more clear even though it's my body that is getting stronger. Go figure.

Sounds like you are almost ready[^].... I've got about 175lbs left to go before I try, but 25% there. My friend talked me into attempting if I can loose enough to reach my goal weight. He desperately wants someone to run with him. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. Talk about things of tomorrow and the mice in the ceiling laugh. Yeah I've noticed that too. I have glasses that I wear, they're a mild prescription, but I found wearing them made my eyes feel more relaxed, especially with all the time I spend in front of a monitor. Since I started exercising I just stopped wearing them! I haven't bothered using them since late June. Don't know how strong a correlation there is, but it seemed interesting. ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Real Mentats use only 100% pure, unfooled around with Sapho Juice(tm)! Well despite the exercise, since June I've found time to revamp the main VCF website, add more documentation to both the VCF and the VCF Builder[^], add a bunch of new thread and run loop features to the VCF, add a form designer to the VCF Builder that now allows you to design forms, and recently have started to integrate a C++ parsing engine (based on ANTLR) that can generate AST*s (or generate code from a generic AST), which allows the forms builder to sync the associated C++ file with any changes it may make. S0o I think we're doing OK :) Although I do wish I could full time on it :( * Abstract Syntax Tree ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! I thought you were talking about excercise until I came to the 1984 bit, now I know your talking about old school torture! ;) Now Van Halen - Van Halen or Diver Down, *that* was the good stuff, 1984 was probably the first hard rock album to go poppy synthesizer and followed by many money grabbing others that sent me and countless other hard rock fans directly into the soothing arms of Seattle Grunge. "Jump" is just about the stupidest, vilest, pure money grab pop rock song ever released. It would be pure torture for me to listen to it when I was forced to listen to it on the radio so often when it came out and just about tasted bile every time.

Well I was surprised when I looked at them after googling a bit. They were nothing like I expected! I guess I had images of MASH Army boots in my mind :) But these things are like a weird mixture of running shoes and construction boots all mixed together - they actually looked pretty damn comfortable. ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! The one thing that I have found after many many miles of hiking/running/trying to keep from being shot is that you should find the very best cushions/inserts for your feet that you can. The best ones are the ones that fit YOUR feet the best, and help you after a few miles. Oh, and give the cushions a week or so to wear in before you throw them away, It seems it takes my feet awhile to get used to them. Stretch those feet too! Make sure that you don't just stretch your legs, also flex and stretch your feet, and it doesn't hurt to baby your feet sometimes either, ice baths can make a real difference. Look up "contrast baths". ............................. There's nothing like the sound of incoming rifle and mortar rounds to cure the blues. No matter how down you are, you take an active and immediate interest in life. Fiat justitia, et ruat cælum
