      You might want to check out Clickatell[^]. In addition, you can also look for a web service that supports sending SMS.

          If your objective is to send text messages to peoples cellphones, most cellphone companies assign an email address to the phone which will send any emails sent to the address as text messages to the phone. For eg. 5555551234@vtext.com would be one for verizon customers. In this case you could simply have your website/webservice send an email to the address containing your SMS message.
