I stand corrected, I earlier said they didn't deserved to win, well, the goons proved me wrong!!! If they'd use large ice rinks and no red line, and good refs, in the NHL, I'd be happier !!! Max.

I just know some Canuck is going to show up at work still hung over (or maybe still drinking) and knock the CP server over. BE CAREFUL! Seriously, the first two periods were great action. When the US killed the 2 high-sticking penalties, I thought that would give 'em a kick in the butt and get them to tie the game. But Canada went into a prevent defense in the third period and the US never got strong offensive rushes. --Mike-- Fetchez la vache! Chris, you must be in hypnosis (initiated by French judges) as we all know you're a permanently adopted Swede, and we (Sweden) lost the quarter-final due to a compiler error :-) /A

Unfortunately I had to leave a few minutes into the third so I didn't get to watch the rest of it :( Sounds like the US dropped the ball (erm, puck  ) in the third. I think the actual notice from our service provider said something like "a service window will exist from 1am EST to 6am EST during with some outages may take place." Glad to hear it went better than expected. David http://www.dundas.com
