Nice site, but man how much time did that take to make? What does it really do? "People who never make mistakes, never do anything." My Blog

Like most DHTML, it's all about the coolness factor. I used to spend hours on Bratti's site trying to figure out how I could use his cool ideas - the proverbial "solution in search of a problem". However, in the end I came to realize it was just UI candy and not really "useful", but nice to look at and admire in terms of the programmer's abilities and creativity. Awesome. It's hard to believe that it's not a Flash site. LOL, I couldn't get it to work until I removed all the "PC web condoms" running. :-D Mark "Nothing is impossible. Remember once upon a time the world was flat."

Awesome! :-D I probably don't find it as impressive as most do, since I've done all those DHTML effects before but in a cross-browser way - but I've never attempted to put them all together like this - very cool!

Very nice. I think it was Thomas Bratti that first made this popular. A number of years ago he had a really cool site with lots of stuff like a Windows-like site via DHTML where you could drag icons, right-click them and basically most things you can do on your Windows desktop. It's the subtle things that make it so good, like double clicking on certain window features to perform actions, etc. Once I had been looking at a few of the features I tried to bring up the display properties from the desktop to change the resolution.
