It looks like that my eyes are getting sore and I could no more see anything other than the standard MFC Controls on my old 15" Flat Screen or even after I close my eys. Its time to get off work and do something GOOD. So, here is a poll and please do vote your choice, and write a short nice comment. Question:

What do you do when you are tired of work?

    a) Open a very old program written in C, which has no documentation and try to analyse how to port it to Java. b) Look out for the sledge hammer with which you broke your Ex-Computer. c) Keep frowning, yell at and abuse the Lord for making you code. d) Count the number of days left in your life. e) Slowly move out and peep into the bar. f) Call all of your junior fellows for a meeting. g) Do some client interaction and try to introduce a lot of changes in already accepted and fine working version of your software. h) Become very sad, depressed and make useless polls (like this) i) Kill the guy who created this poll. j) Custom answer (Give yours) ------------------------------ Results to declare in time accoding to number of responses. Reply like this: My choice : c) Comments: "some comment" You have an apple and me too. We exchange those and We have an apple each. You have an idea and me too. We exchange those and We have two ideas each.

    j) I try to motivate myself, if possible. Sometimes I can't do anything but the job I'm working with. Especially if it involves direct contact with a customer. I can't just drop everything because I'm tired of doing it. That's not what I'm paid for. :) -- Pictures[^] from my Japan trip.

I remind myself that no one else around can do what I do, and that the firm is desperate to keep me. So I relax, de-stress, go and find some colleagues to discuss trivial, work related, stuff with. Get up late, go home early, play with my kid, and dream about skiing. How to reduce your work load: Work out which panic is real, and which can be ignored, and if ignored by you, wil either sort itself out, or die a natural death. Then just do the real one. Nunc est bibendum
