Some of you old (and not so old) farts who don't have a life and spend most of your waking moments browsing CP may have encountered my occasional highly objective views on the merits of the ham sandwich. Not just any old ham sandwich, but fresh deli baked ham with crisp lettuce and thinly sliced juicy tomato, ensconced in a couple of slices of Wonder light wheat bread. Now before you throw heavy objects at me, let me confess that I have a new heartthrob: freshly baked, moist, lightly sweetened banana bread. No almonds, no raisins, no nuts. Just the real thing. Add a strong cup of coffee and an undisturbed weekend of hacking.  Ah... life is good! /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Music | Articles | Freeware | Trips ravib(at)ravib(dot)com

outside of the white bread, that is right up my alley. I can't have white bread anymore (well, I could but it would be a bite compared to any other bread). enjoy! _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. I can have another 3rd more, but the light wheat is still too much... whole wheat or no bread for me anymore. I was a light wheat person until recently. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. Talk about things of tomorrow and the mice in the ceiling laugh. (Japanese Proverb)

I am sorry but those two do NOT go together. I it is Ham and Rye, preferably a nice dark one. :-D "Simplicity is more complicated than you think. But it’s well worth it” (Ron Jeffries)

Indeed! I'm looking forward to leftover Thai (spicy noodle with spicy chicken basil), garlic bread (why not?), a simple salad, and for dessert... more hacking ASP .Net.  (Yes, I know I'm sick.) :) /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Music | Articles | Freeware | Trips ravib(at)ravib(dot)com

Sounds like you are having fun. I have been cleaning all day. My mom is coming for Christmas. Enjoy, basic soup tonight for us. "Simplicity is more complicated than you think. But it’s well worth it” (Ron Jeffries)

No nuts? Are you mad? My mother still bakes the occasional loaf of banana-nut bread for me. Yum!

I'm sure she makes an awesome banana nut loaf, but I think it's equally popular sans nuts. /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Music | Articles | Freeware | Trips ravib(at)ravib(dot)com
