Anyone got any screenshots of Cider? I'd like to see what this looks like but would rather not uninstall my WinFX beta bits just to try out Cider.

LOL. He was showing off how the designer preserves your XML formatting, and to prove it formatted the definition for a button, moved it in the visual editor, then showed the XML. One problem: it didn't preserve the formatting! Hand formatted: Button After editing: Button Err, whoops. (Yeah, the Height and Width properties are new, but "Name" is back on the same line as Button.) I wouldn't be so nitpicky if I hadn't hated the first app he showed off so much. :)

Thanks Kant. It's odd they make you download an .exe, only to extract the contents which is a .wmv file, which could just as easily be streamed over the web. ;P Anyways. Thanks, watching it now.

Or at least zipped up - why have an exe installer just for 1 wmv file?

This is being talked about, but there are some technical obstacles that are being looked at. Tom Archer (blog) Program Manager MSDN Online (Windows Vista and Visual C++) MICROSOFT

Thanks. I do hope it gets there eventually - else it's going to be a major disadvantage for anyone using C++ to target Avalon.
