so I finally received my DVD i ordered Aardvark'd[^] and have mixed emotions. I laughed a couple of times, and overall it was prolly about a 6 or 7 but I wish there was more technical content. Has anyone watched the movie yet? Thanks, John

For his part, Spolsky said the picture far outstripped his expectations as a semieducational tool. "What we really wanted is that the movie not turn out to be totally geeky, with a bunch of stand up conversations about lambda calculus," he said. "Lerone came in as an outsider to software development and was able to focus on the human beings, not just the software."[^] I've had it for a week or so, but I haven't yet had a chance to watch it. I recieved my copy last night and had pretty much the same reaction you did. Being the geek I am, I wanted to hear more about what they we're doing, they're problems, and the like. But I must admit it got me interested in doing the FogCreek intern program.... then I read it is an absolute requirment to be a college student, so I was shot down...... -Chris
