I finally gave in. I bought myself an X-Box. The last piece of my life which could actually be called life, is now gone. ;) -- Din mamma.

I'm actually thinking of picking one up this afternoon. I have a question though, which controller are they bundling (is it the smaller one) and what other extras are included with the bundle. (i.e. free games) Matt Newman

When I bought mine, they had the racing bundle advertised (racing wheel, some car game, etc). I'm not a racing nut, so I bought the plain-jane version. The controller they include is one of the most comfortable and solid ones I've ever seen (not to mention BIG). I bought another cheapo controller, but I don't like it that much. There's one I'm thinking of getting that has a little fan built into it (hands get sweaty whenever I play for some reason)... Jeremy Kimball

Depends on where you buy. My wife got me one from WalMart that had the standard black controller and Amped. Best Buy was selling the same unit with Brute Force as the bundled game. For a little more money, you can get a great set at BJ's Wholesale Club that includes four games, and two controllers. Regards, Brigg Thorp Software Engineer Timex Corporation

My wife bought me one for my birthday in February. I don't know if she wanted the time to herself, but she sure gets a lot of time. I have Halo (finished), Brute Force (finished), GTA Vice City (almost finished), GTA III, and the Midway retro pack. It's totally awesome. Blows my old Nintendo 64 out of the water. Brute Force is OK. For $19.99 it's not a bad game. I probably wouldn't buy it for $49.99. Basically, the controls are the same as Halo, but you can control up to 4 different people. Each one has a cool super power. One has invisibility, while another has super shooting. The graphics aren't anywhere near as good as Halo, but it's a cool game. Is Splinter Cell one of those solve a puzzle games, then you get to blow up stuff, or is it a first or third person shooter?
