Well, actually....I and all 7 other friendly generals, my 8 bodyguards, and assorted troops beat on Lu Bu for 15-20 minutes, but I got the last shot in :) I found a couple of 'net postings for 32" HDTV's, about half-price. Problem is I'm saving up for a car :(

I have one too, great fun. You have to get Project Gotham Racing 2[^]. If you're a first-person-shooter kind of person... Halo and Splinter Cell are great games. I've been playing Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorrow since friday at every free moment I have. :-O;)

Here's some others you should try/buy/rent: Crimson Skies Freedom Fighters (although the camera sucks) Dynasty Warriors 4 Simpson's Hit & Run (vaugely like GTA, simpson's style) Splinter Cell (*THE* stealth game) What's Brute Force like?
Brute Force is OK. For $19.99 it's not a bad game. I probably wouldn't buy it for $49.99. Basically, the controls are the same as Halo, but you can control up to 4 different people. Each one has a cool super power. One has invisibility, while another has super shooting. The graphics aren't anywhere near as good as Halo, but it's a cool game. Is Splinter Cell one of those solve a puzzle games, then you get to blow up stuff, or is it a first or third person shooter? Regards, Brigg Thorp Software Engineer Timex Corporation

I wouldn't worry...there is barely anything to play on the XBox. You'll be bored fast and go back to your nefarious coding ways. :-)

I posted a review of it on my blog - the essence of which was: "My faith in the platform genre has been renewed after the shambles that was Sonic Heroes." On which note - given the choice of PoP or SH, get PoP immediately, don't bother with SH at all. Sega really screwed that game up.

No, Splinter Cell is more one of those: "Get into Building X and get data from Computer Y. There are guards patrolling the perimeter of the building, as well as inside. There are cameras in several key areas that will alert the guards to your presence. You will also need to get past a retinal scanner, so be sure to sneak up behind one of the guards and drag him to the scanner (with your gun at his temple)." You can take the guns-blazing approach, but chances are you will be very dead, very soon. The game rewards being really sneaky - padding silently behind guards and clubbing them out cold (and hiding their bodies), or even avoiding guards altogether.
