Has anyone noticed how the status bar decides to disappear in IE and explorer in Windows XP for it's own reason. I found that you need to keep enabling this has anyone found this with XP and if so, is there a fix

It seems to be a bug undocumented feature. I tried the following and it worked. XP Folder Amnesia[^]

I think MS always adds little bugs like that which they later fix in the next version of windows just so you have a reason to upgrade. Todd Smith

Hey, they do their best to make you happy! What's a non-bug against a bug that gets fixed!
