The weekend has almost arrived, just a few hours to go.... :jig: The question is, how do we get through those few hours? Any clever ideas for getting through the rest of the day? Today's Dilbert[^] was a good start, but what now?

So far I've reorganised my photo albums, finished some work, had two cups of tea, and am wondering how easy it would be to appear sick while feeling perfectly healthy in order to start the weekend early :-O

My boss thinks I'm overworked (I don't know why, I just work quickly - just as I read quickly, type quickly, etc) and seems to get annoyed if I keep finishing things up. The mind boggles further when you realise that our IT department has almost doubled this month (from the IT director, myself and another dev to the three of us, plus one dedicated network chap who has taken over a lot of my responsibilities and another new developer). This might sound like heaven to many, but I hate being bored. Humans - never happy huh?

I'm waiting on my 4 weeks vacation beginning this weekend. In that case a few hours can pass very very slowly MS

Just think of all that great work you can do now. Just think off all the benefits to mankind. You work, you get paid, your company profits all of which contributes to the economy. The economy improves meaning more prosperity, more people get jobs, which improves the economy further which increases prosperity. Now with all that extra prosperity you can just imagine how many cool gadgets you can get! :-D

Don't you have anything to read? Try to get a paper/pen or a notebook computer, and write the stuff you would like to read now. Write a novel, an article, a letter to the universe... :-D (I still have a couple of never-finished novels, because the boring hours were over before my story was finished.)

Hopefully I'll manage to waste an hour or so eating lunch, if I eat really slowly. And then... can I dream for 3 hours... hmmm... unsure of that but I'll give a try. If I had a better memory I would remember more.

The weekend has almost arrived, just a few hours to go.... :jig: The question is, how do we get through those few hours? Any clever ideas for getting through the rest of the day? Today's Dilbert[^] was a good start, but what now?
