I've never had a virus infect my computer. I did receive a panicked phone call from my mother "I got an email with a screensave attached called happy99.exe, and now I get all funny stuff happening to the computer" Trying to navigate my mother through DOS to delete all the required files was errrmmmm... amusing to say the least. I receive about 3 or 4 virus emails a week. The CEO's laptop is infected by usually about 3 or 4 virii at any one time... Example... Virus Alert from CEO\CEO Vet File Monitor has found that C:\HELP.HTM is VBS.HappyTime worm. Not Restored. Virus Alert from CEO\CEO Vet File Monitor has found that C:\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP\KAK.HTA is Wscript.Kak.a worm. Not Restored. Virus Alert from CEO\CEO Vet File Monitor has found that C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\CFGWIZ32.EXE was infected with Win32.Magistr.24876 virus. Restored. Virus Alert from CEO\CEO Vet File Monitor has found that C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\J_J.SCR is Win32.SubSeven.213 trojan. Not Restored. Virus Alert from CEO\CEO Vet File Monitor has found that C:\TEMP\dwarf4you.exe is Win32.Hybris.B worm. Not Restored. Virus Alert from CEO\CEO Vet File Monitor has found that C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\MIDGETS.SCR is Win32.Hybris.gen worm. Not Restored.
