...casting my vote for the Parliament election. My city fell under the constituencies belonging to the third phase of the elections. The counting is on Thursday and I am just too eager to know the results. The roads are just calm and quiet [and that is very unusual] as it is a public holiday here... I watched on the news this morning that voter turnout has been very poor this time around. Perhaps people are getting tired of politicians promises? Woke up this morning...and got myself a blog

Request - Could everyone who have in the past, posted on my personal forum on CP, be kind enough to delete all your posts please? I intend to start a personal non-technical blog there, now that it is RSSd and would very much like to empty the forum before I do so - because the posts that are there as of now are mostly test posts and posts that were made before we all knew it was a blog :-)

I believe that all elections should have a "none of the candidates" option. Sometimes all the candidates are so useless that you really find it hard to motivate yourself to go and vote. My neighbor's kid is about 10, he's in public school. He can't vote, so should he not be able to complain about the sad state of public schools? An elected official serves everyone in his/her constituency.
