    I was updating a user document and entered '(' followed by 'C' then ':' and finally ')' - try just ':' and ')' and ':' then '(' in a new document... Steve

You might point out that you need AutoCorrect turned on (I always have it turned off). These shortcuts are documented in the dialog box for AutoCorrect.
