I managed to create my account but the server is now down, so I haven't actually had a chance to try it out. Fingers crossed...

I'm not sure how the invitation mechanism works. I think you have to wait a while before you can start inviting people. I already have friends that have requested accounts, but I'll keep your name in mind if they acquire one from someone else.
