My new article is just posted, http://www.codeproject.com/threads/ProducerConsumerModel.asp, and oops, the first rating I got for this article is "1", , it is fine, but I really like to know/learn what is the weak point in this article: could it be that it is an old topic so it is not that interesting? could it be that my English is not good? or maybe, I don't have a good understanding about thread, semaphore and event, and I used them wrong, which is much more serious. So if you are the one who rated this article to be 1 (or if you simply agree that this is not a good article), let me know your idea so I can learn from you. you can post your reply without showing your name. I think CP is, on the whole, quite fair when it comes to article ratings; but it takes time to filter through. I see that your article has only just been posted, so I would not put too much leaning either way at this early stage. Wait a while and see what the overall response from the rest of the CP community is. I'm sure you'll eventually get a lot of constructive responses :)

I haven't gone through your article, Liyang, but I'm not daunted by a 1 or two. There are jerks everywhere, and sadly, CP is no exception. Don't let a single bad apple stop you from writing. The important part is that you contribute, as you yourself say in the last line. "Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self." I see you are upto 4.12 now. The first person who voted was probably just a sad lonely miserable git who just wanted to try and bring the world down to his level. Sadly these people exist. But not to worry, because you wrote a great article and as you've seen it Code Project's voting system is more-or-less self correcting.
