You had to get the price for the enterprise version right, it's a LOT more expensive than the standard one. - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!" ShotKeeper, my Photo Album / Organizer Application[^]

Email marketing apps - sending out a bunch of emails and response management (btw, we don't call it "spam". rather, we call it eDM in the business - email marketing campaign apps :) ). Yes, SSL isn't very high up in priority list, but it's one of the requirements. SSL and JK2 are both easy to setup provided if you have the right document to guide you through it. But, once you're done, you may soon forget it and have to go through that learning curve again the next time - unless you get to setup SSL and JK2 frequent enuf. Norman Fung

We do one too. Dad: What you working on at work son? Paul: Oh, this mass mailer app for clients. So they can send out newsletters, brochures etc. Dad: Oh, spam? Paul: No! All opt-in lists! Dad: Yeah, opt-in lists, haven't opted in once yet but my inbox is still full of opt-in emails. Paul: Ok so it's spam. Sheesh, your son has to eat you know. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Ian Darling wrote: "and our loonies usually end up doing things like Monty Python." [edit] Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-Microsoft, but I don't buy into that whole lower TCO marketing campaign MS is pitching. [/edit] Jeremy Falcon

I thought that open source, free-as-beer stuff had low TCO? One person's salary for three days is considerably less than MS Server software. :P Jeremy Falcon
hehe you must be kidding dude.. getting 2400$ in 3 days is a hell lot of money.. earning that kindda money takes almost 8 months for me....and i've been coding for 2 years now and most people think that i am one of those "lucky ones" to get that much if i get some free lance stuff to do along with my present job. Any ideas where i can get that kindda money???? :) :)..

I hope you all get hit with a chunk of airplane lavatory waste. This is precisely why I have my own domain and give out emails in the following way: codeproject@mydomain.com fileplanet@mydomain.com someweirdwebsite@mydomain.com I have a catch-all address that I never give out. So if I start getting one of your eDM or whatever the hell you want to call your bile and its being sent to codeproject@mydomain.com then I know code project sold my email address. Then i simply bounce any email going to codeproject@mydomain.com I bought a Dell XPS gaming system, started a fan site, and never looked back.
