    I need to do a big web project and want to learn asp .NET. I have no background knowledge in web development but I have a background in VB & HTML (Only a Background). Can anyone give me a recommendation for a good book/site/anything else. Can't stop thanking you

          www.asp.net is not for beginners. It's for people who have a background in web development. I only have a background in web design.

                    Thank you everyone for helping me. The introductions where good but what I really need is something from start to end. From the basics of Asp .NET to advance Asp .NET.
