 I'd keep pressing "keys" on the desk to the right of the keyboard! :~

Well, I have a few new toys at the moment, but king of the heap is definately my Microsoft cordless desktop pro, which is a wireless split keyboard and mouse. It's unbelievable how sexy this thing is. I'm interested to know what sort of keyboard people use, so I thought I'd call a poll. If you use a proper split keyboard, vote 5, and if you are using a traditional, RSI inducing keyboard, vote one, and go see a physio. MS Natural KB "Elite" all the way. Love the thing, have trouble switching to client and co-worker machines. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan wrote: "I always knew that somewhere deep inside that likable, Save the Whales kinda guy there lurked the heart of a troublemaker..." I've got the same keyboard you do at present, but put in a 5 button Wireless Intellimouse Explorer Optical Whatever Thingy XP Etc Etc to use instead of the mouse that comes with the keyboard (which is too small to use comfortably)

Stuff those new-fangled wireless keybaords. 1993 vintage IBM keyboard with individual micro-switches all the way for me! Rubber membrane keyboards are for VB programmers ;) "Oh, I'm sick of doing Japanese stuff! In jail we had to be in this dumb kabuki play about the 47 Ronin, and I wanted to be Oshi, but they made me Ori!"

I use MS Natural Keyboards both at work and at home, and feel uneasy when I have to switch back to a "standard" one. Is the cordless option really useful for a keyboard?

Whatever happened to Microsoft's keyboard with the scrollwheel-thingy on the left side (this one[^])? I'm very intrigued by the idea of a scrollwheel on a keyboard, but I never had a chance to try it out...and none of their latest natural keyboards have it. I'm not going back to a "plain" keyboard either, wheel or not. And I don't want a wireless keyboard/mouse. My MS mouse was eating through batteries on a monthly basis, and I hated it. For that matter, I don't need an additional mouse at all...no combos for me. ...and I can live with a wired keyboard. ...oh, and MS has to stop messing with the layout and location of the cursor and Home/End/Ins/Del keys with each new keyboard... Am I asking too much? I expect my original Natural Elite (had it since 1994!) to die any minute now...

Here's the best site I got out of a quick google: http://pda.o2.co.uk/[^] Actually, this is better: www.o2.com[^] It didn't come up on google, but it seemed obvious to try :-) Christian I have drunk the cool-aid and found it wan and bitter. - Chris Maunder
