If Charley stays on the official NHC forecasted path (no reason to suspect that it won't since all 5 major computer models roughly agree on this path) it will make landfall near the Tampa metro area at an oblique angle (almost parellel actually) to the coast. I hope our fellow Tampa residents are prepared.
