I just heard on JJJ news on my way into work that the US Justice department is dropping its legal action against MS to split them up. This apparently paves the way for XP to be released without any more legal hurdles. The Justice department will now work with MS on fostering competition in the PC market. Good news, eh? regards John

Don't know. The story just talked about the US case, and just the Justice department one at that. IIRC, there is another being conducted by some US states. Thats probably a whole other story. regards John
