      Just press PrintScrenn then open paint.exe Follow by Edit->Paste. Then you got the screenshoot.         Use Alt+PrntScrn to send a copy of the active window to the clipboard. Now you can paste that into your favorite imaging software (e.g., Paint).

              Chances are you are creating help files for your application and have the HTML Help Workshop & the companion HTML Help Image Editor. The latter comes with an image capture and limited ability to crop & save images in different formats (GIF, JPG, ..).

                The very best one I've used is SnagIt. See http://www.techsmith.com/[^] Captures menus, mouse-pointers and all. :cool: It's not free, but it's not expensive! Sam W

                        I guess when he saw my screenshot (in german) he thought "blech, I'd have to localize that!" and lost interest.
