I was just asked that.... Note that it wasn't, where is the MSDN for Java, or where are the newsgroups for Java.. "Where is the CodeProject for Java?". I just think it's  that when somebody wants to find out about a language, or how to do things, one of the first things that pops into their heads in :bob:. It's a testament to how good a job the CP team is doing. Chris, Dave, the rest of the staff, the editors, sub-editors, site builders, the protectors, supporters and the community... congratulations on making CP ( :bob: ) the best damn site on the net... :rose: Regards, Brian Dela :-) Now Reading: Code Complete 2ed[^] by Steve McConnell

He released the 'beta' to the public domain on PDF, which is what I read a lot of. It's excellent reading, even for seasoned coders that know everything. Learn which South African airlines never to use on my blog.

          > Is it good ? Yes. Very Good. I didn't read the original in it's entirity (glanced at certain sections though), but if it was as good as this one then I can understand what the big fuss was about. It's handy to have all this info packed into a single resource. There are things that Steve say in the book that I don't with fully, but overall.. it's a very good book. Good lord yes - I've got a chance of getting a Java programming job, and I haven't touched Java since some simple (hello-world-ish) exercises at Uni - currently working on the principle that I can program in C#, and C# is similar to Java. It hadn't even occured to me that CP didn't have Java articles and forums until you posted that :omg: What am I going to do? *finds a table to hide under* -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit! So, where is the Java section on CP? There's a Java VM for Windows, that means you can write programs in Java and run them on Windows. With the Java-Native Interface, you can even write Java application _only_ for Windwos. Even VB has it's corner on CP, I'd have no problem with a corner for Java... ;P

Scrape of delegates, events, properties and attributes, then it's very hard to spot the difference.
