Anybody else going? I have been lurking here on CP for a looong time and would love the opportunity to meet any of you that are also attending. If not, is there anything special that you would be looking to learn "IF" you were going. There may just be an article in there somewhere. ~Cliff

I'm definitely planning on going. Not sure how I'm going to get there (row boat? magic carpet?) If we get a decent enough bunch we should grab a room somewhere and have our own little mini get-together cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)

I'm not usually a bar-goer, but I do know of a couple places near where I live that I can crawl to with the gang. ;) Or, for more sober adventuring, there's always looking at the rich chicks in Beverly Hills and stargazing at Griffith Observatory. (Hopefully the weather will be a bit nicer than the last time I was at Griffith - check it out here (135K).) --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/ Ford: How would you react if I said that I'm not from Guildford after all, but from a small planet somewhere in the vicinity of Betelguese? Arthur: I don't know. Why, do you think it's the sort of thing you're likely to say?

LOL! as I read "CodeProject vegemite" I swear I saw our nameless green alien mascott friend crack a smile! I swear it! It can't be the staying up till 4am or the overuse of vegemite on thin toast (I misread the instructions you guys gave, I put a thick swipe of vegemite on a thin slice of toast, aaaacckkk!) heh ok I'll go take my medicine now. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible." - Chretien Malesherbes

Is it only me who sees the idea of an observatory in LA faintly bizarre? cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)

Chris, Maybe if you sell some of that swag you swiped from Microsoft during all your visits there then you would be able to afford a ticket on public transportation. ;) Anyway, hope to get the chance to meet you and David. ~Cliff
