He's not camel-qualified. Goats maybe. Why would anyone waste time arguing with an accountant about anything? Their sole function is to record what happenned, and any higher aspirations are mere delusions of grandeur. On the ladder of productive contributions they are the little rubber pads at the bottom that keep the thing from sliding out from under you. - Roger Wright

If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator. To occupy Iraq would instantly shatter our coalition, turning the whole Arab world against us and make a broken tyrant into a latter-day hero ... assigning young soldiers to a fruitless hunt for a securely entrenched dictator and condemning them to fight in what would be an un-winnable urban guerilla war. It could only plunge that part of the world into even greater instability.[^] :-D GW, Da'man

In case there is any confusion, the quote; "If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." was spoken by George W. Bush. The quote: "To occupy Iraq would instantly shatter our coalition, turning the whole Arab world against us and make a broken tyrant into a latter-day hero ... assigning young soldiers to a fruitless hunt for a securely entrenched dictator and condemning them to fight in what would be an un-winnable urban guerilla war. It could only plunge that part of the world into even greater instability." was spoken by George H.W. Bush, president from 1988-1992, about the first Gulf War. ----------------------------------------------------- Empires Of Steel[^]
