I am planning $250 or less expensive printer. Can anyone suggest me on what could be the best possible options for me. One more thing, is there a site where I can get the comparision (like dpreview.com for cameras? )

I'm very happy with my Canon IP4000. Its fast, makes good photos, prints on CD/DVDs and has a duplexing unit (prints on both sides). I believe it is in you price range...

What do you want to print? Photos? B&W text documents? There is a huge variety to choose from and you can only choose when you know what you will use the printer most for. No good getting a photo printer and waiting 30 minutes to print out a text manual. regards, Paul Watson South Africa Michael Dunn wrote: "except the sod who voted this a 1, NO SOUP FOR YOU" Crikey! ain't life grand?

I've had a couple HP printers, with no trouble. Still using the HP 952C, but that is now discontinued. This[^] is in its place. Looks great. BW The Biggest Loser
