boost your code || Fold With Us! || sighist | doxygenI use this[^]. It's not free, but can update the image periodically, showing current night/day zones, including lights in the night areas. It can also show the time in various places on the map. I quite like it :)

boost your code || Fold With Us! || sighist | doxygenIt's not Earth, but I used to use the program Phoon (short for phase of the moon, port of the X app xphoon) that generates an accurate picture of the moon and sets it as your background. Download here[^] (75K) if you wanna try it. --Mike-- LINKS~! Ericahist | 1ClickPicGrabber | CP SearchBar v2.0.2 | C++ Forum FAQ | You Are Dumb

I suppose this is what the whale in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy saw... :) -- Weiter, weiter, ins verderben. Wir müssen leben bis wir sterben. I blog too now[^]

I suppose this is what the whale in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy saw... map the blue marble to the globe, and take your picture from anywhere you want. :) I do it all the time! of course it helps if you have a nice if you had my app, but NASA has the next best thing. http://learn.arc.nasa.gov/worldwind/[^] It's a huge download, but once down you can take NASA blue marble pics anywhere you want. I'm still working on my atmosphere model, so I don't do clouds yet.
