In your previous posts, you never presented a respectful way of writing. Fair enough - I know that the Bible has been misused by people in power, so I won't dispute that the Quran may well be treated in the same way. I have said before I do not respect the Quran as being in any way inspired by God, but I certainly respect your right to disagree with me, and would expect that this disagreement doesn't mean we have to fight or dislike each other. I am generally only disrespectful when I feel people have been the same, at least I hope that is the case. Anyway, as I said before, we have to learn to live in peace... Amen to that. Christian As I learn the innermost secrets of the around me, they reward me in many ways to keep quiet. Men with pierced ears are better prepared for marriage. I have great respect for the people of Turkey. The fact that you guys have a woman as head of state despite being an Islamic country, points to the fact that Islam does not discriminate against women and that the people of Turkey are not willing to take any bullshit even if it is in the name of religion. I hope that countries like Turkey will come ahead and work towards dispelling the world opinion of Islam being repressive of women (promoted by rulers like those in Afghanistan). -Thomas
