I switched to a new CDMA mobile service (www.relianceinfo.com) four months ago. After two months, due to a govt. rule all the CDMA mobile numbers were converted to a 10 digits, thus my number was also changed from 34009370 to 9342509370. At that point of time I thought since the number is already changed, why not grab this oppertunity and get a fancy number. Thus I requested to change my number. From the list of available numbers they gave me, I choose 93410 93410. But unluckly this number was listed due to their buggy software, as this number was already assigned to their customer service. Since then till today if anyone try to call me it was going to 'Automated responsing customer service!!!'. I have sent many mail to the customer service but no luck yet. The real trouble is, The hand set I bought from this service provider is not compatible with any other service providers. Something like married to relation ! And this company is not ready to take back the handset. So I wanted to post the entire hang of conservations made with the customercare, to different news servers and message boadrs. Any good software to do this for me.

If you do that, you might get sued for defamation or for posting of private conversations. It'd be better to go talk to a lawyer first. Nish p.s. Can you make outgoing calls? If so, are they charged?

But the mails I have sent as well as their replies dosen't have any footer like "This message (Including any attachments) is confidential and is intended only for the addressee" or something like this. In that case how can they sue me. >>It'd be better to go talk to a lawyer first. I dont have confidence in ju****y. >>Can you make outgoing calls? If so, are they charged? Till today morning I could make outgoing calls also. And ofcourse it is billed.

I have no idea if your phones work in any way similar to the way they do over here, but I'll try and explain what you'd do in the same situation in the UK * I have a handset bought from Provider X * Provider Y offers far better service, but I don't want to have to buy a new handset the handset is so-called "SIM Locked" - inside the phone there's a tiny plastic card with gold contacts that contains the identity of the phone (i.e. what number it is, what carrier to use, and so on) - this is the SIM Most carriers will lock the phone so that it'll only accept SIMS from that carrier You can ask the carrier to unlock (which they should do if you're out of contract) - they'll charge a £10-20ish fee, do some magic over the airwaves, and presto, your handset will work with other carriers. Now for a lot of common handsets (such as Nokias) you can get data cables that connect your phone to the PC, and let you backup your phone book, and so on. You can get software that'll use this cable to hack the phone and disable the lock. There will also usually be a guy in the market selling cheap phone accessories, who'll plug your phone into his laptop and do it for you (at a fee usually less than what the carrier would charge) -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit! Phoenix Paint - back from DPaint's ashes!

This causes the confusion to average user. suhredayan® wrote: So I wanted to post the entire hang of conservations made with the customercare, to different news servers and message boadrs. A mail with following lines did the trick, ;). "IF YOU DONT ADDRESS THIS ISSUE. I WILL POST THIS ENTIRE CONVERSATION AND THE PROBLEM FACED BY ME, ON HUNDREDS OF "USENET GROUPS". AND SITES, SINCE 50 DAYS IS ABOVE ANY LIMIT. THERE ARE FREE SOFTWARE TOOLS AVAILABLE TO DO THIS FOR ME." After I sent this mail, got a call from their head office within 10 mins. And the problem got solved within 1 hour. LOL, thanks for their ignorance about message boards and news servers .
