http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2005-01-14-stripping_x.htm[^] I think this is ridiculous. Apart from any other consideration, how long can a person work as a stripper ?! For 10 years ? What are you supposed to do after that ? Become a cocktail waitress or something (worse) ? This sounds weird to me as a career choice. "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

David Wulff wrote: it is a valid option Yeah it is. But its the kind of thing most people stumble into. You would hardly want your child grow up idolizing stippers and aspiring to be one. Its just not that attractive a proposition as a career (irrespective of the money that people make in it) David Wulff wrote: What the hell is wrong with fishing? What's sick is that this is news. I had a teacher once - substitute, when asked by one of the students (class whore, as I remember) to define "promiscuous", she just turned to the girl and said "It means people who screw a lot of different people", and then continued her lecture. Today, that would be a headline story.

Well, unless its ice fishing, I imagine you would be out there on a boat or something during the day sailing and fishing (or maybe its not that much fun, it sure sounds like fun when you've been sitting in an office since morning staring at a screen) "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."
