Safin ends Federer's 26 match winning streak... In 5 previous games he didn't drop a set. Some great matches in the Australian Open. Pity they come on tv at odd time. Last night though I watched the women's semifinals. The Williams-Sharapova match was fantastic. "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

dnh wrote: was it really match what was fantastic Well among other things :) But it really was a hell of a match. Some 3 match points saved. A one hour + final set. Two times Sharapova served for the match and was broken both time. A great match.
