from my new desktop machine. The one I was talking about a few days back when I was trying to find out how important clock speed was. I ordered it last Friday and it arrived as early as today. Its a Dell Precision Workstation 370n. 2.8 GHz, 1Mb L2 cache, 800 FSB, 1 GB Hard Drive, 64 Mb video card dual monitors, :jig: "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

Mis-typed in my excitement....1GB of RAM of course and a 80 Gig SATA Hard Drive :) "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

Yes, just make sure each output has it's own RAMDAC (if it's VGA that is) for the best performance. Jeremy Falcon

Most half decent cards now come with DVI and D-SUB outputs on the back. And again, most come with DVI->D-SUB gizmos to make it dead easy to drive two monitors. Its reeeeaaaally nice having VC++ maximised on the left, and debuggee on the right. Iain.

I think so, yes. The video card description says that its "dual capable" which I take to mean that there are others which are not. You also get a two way splitter connector to connect to two monitors which plugs into a different kind of socket in the back of the CPU. I'm just a math guy trying to pass as a programmer so don't ask me for details about what kind of port that is :) "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."
