Yesterday's temperature reached 42.6C, and it was still 33C at 10:30pm last night. Amazingly, it dropped to 22.1C at 5:38am this morning, and our maximum peaked today at 25.1C at 12:41pm (not to mention the thick cloud - I haven't seen the sun all day). The forecast for yesterday was 38C, and today was 29C. A 17.5C difference between yesterday and today is quite amazing for this time of year. Gotta love this weather :)

Two days ago it was 27C; today (it's raining again) it might make it up to 15C. Still, I can't complain - it is winter, after all. Soon enough it will be 50C again...:sigh: On the other hand, I guess I can complain some. Why can't it be warm and sunny today, when I have to be out wiring an electrical substation all day (and late last night) in the rain, instead of two days ago when I was stuck indoors doing paperwork? :whine: "If it's Snowbird season, why can't we shoot them?" - Overheard in a bar in Bullhead City

We used to hang out for them  Roger Wright wrote: Why can't it be warm and sunny today, when I have to be out wiring an electrical substation all day (and late last night) in the rain, instead of two days ago when I was stuck indoors doing paperwork? I feel your pain. Yesterday during the heat I had to walk a couple of kms down the road to buy lunch; not pleasant at midday in 42C heat. So I brought my lunch today  Why, oh why...
