nSoftware Red Carpet Subscription
-
Does anyone here have a subscription to /n Software's Red Carpet? Basically it gives you a license to everything they sell (kinda like an MSDN subscription). Is it worth it? They sell it direct for $1499 per developer, but I've also seen it cheaper through some resellers. For example, at Programmer's Paradise it is being sold for $1264.99 http://www.nsoftware.com/subscriptions/default.aspx[^] http://www.programmersparadise.com/Product.pasp?txtCatalog=Paradise&txtCategory=&txtProductID=D77+0148[^] Has anyone seen this subscription any cheaper anywhere else? -- Edward Livingston (aka ExtraLean) -- "I still maintain that seeing a nipple is far less disturbing than seeing someone get their brains blown out." -- Chris Maunder

Yep, we bought one. They make some good communications components. Only problem I've ever had with them has been getting a couple tech support guys who knew less than our devs. Beyond that, their components seem top notch.

Thanks for sharing, Allen. Does the Red Carpet subscription come with full source code? Or just DLLs or OCXs? -- Edward Livingston (aka ExtraLean) -- "I still maintain that seeing a nipple is far less disturbing than seeing someone get their brains blown out." -- Chris Maunder
