You also won't get even half decent sound, and the last time I looked at webcams, the resolution will be terrible unless you spend halfway to the cost of a video camera on one. Either way, it's an expensive, unwieldy, user hostile video camera. Christian I have several lifelong friends that are New Yorkers but I have always gravitated toward the weirdo's. - Richard Stringer

But, as Christian says, the resolution for web cams is typically quite low. 640 x 480 is the highest resolution I have seen.
