Inside COM by Dale Rogerson. Like a lot of MS Press Windows fundamentals books of a certain age, it seems to be out of print - or, at least, Amazon are only offering marketplace sellers. As for COM+, it's not really a subject for beginners. I haven't really used it, but my book on it is Tim Ewald's Transactional COM+: Building Scalable Applications. Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder

I use Beth as she's a walking book on just about anything to do with COM (or databases, for that matter). She's not generally available at your local Waterstones, though. * Starbucks is another matter. Particularly when they're stocked up on Chocolate and Cream Frappuccino. ;) Anna :rose: Riverblade Ltd - Software Consultancy Services Anna's Place | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. It didn't work.
