I recently landed a contract that is going to take me to Australia for a week or two of live support when the product is installed. I know we've got a number of Aussie members, anyone have any suggestions on things to try to do/see in the area? From past experience I'll probably be lucky to sneak out after normal work hours and possibly one day away from the site, so major jaunts are out.

Good luck. Adelaide isn't known as the city of churches[^] for nothing :-)

Lets be honest, isn't it amazing how many truly stupid people you meet during the course of the day. Carry around a pad and pencil, you'll have twenty or thirty names by the end of the day - George Carlin Awasu 2.1.1 [^]: A free RSS reader with support for Code Project.

For Oz, that's only down the road and 'round the corner :-) Reminds of the time some Pommie friends of mine came over, looked at a map and decided it would be fun to drive from Melbourne to Alice Springs "for the weekend", not realizing that it was a mere 2200+ km away :-D

You're in Melbourne? Nice. Mark - grab a Virgin Blue flight over to Melbourne for the day and have a look around. Just hope the winter drizzle hasn't kicked in by the time you get here ;) cheers, Chris Maunder
