Any chance that Win2k SP5 is getting released ? You know - all those hotfixes and cumilative updates are getting unmanageable ! Any news if they might be consolidated into one big service pack ? Or is *the firm* going to shift focus to WinXP/2003 and higher leaving us Win2k diehards behind ? I suspect that us Win2K "diehards" will be left behind. Apparently there's no profit in providing fixes to a defective product after three years or so. In any other market it would have been released in a working form, but in our field it's considered normal to release products that aren't done yet. MIcrosoft has pushed that line for so long that we now accept it as reasonable - good job, Marketing. Good robots... thanks for falling in line so nicely. Boredom, Bull$^%&, Baggage, Bar - all start with 'B'
      Coincidence?

I remember reading that MS worked on dropping working support after 5 years. So I guess it's about time 2000 got shelved. Regardz Colin J Davies The most LinkedIn CPian (that I know of anyhow) :-)

Yes, I'm pretty sure there will be an SP5. I remember reading about this recently but can't remember where. However, I expect that will be the last one. Kevin
