I have been looking all morning, with no luck. I am running Windows 2003 Server on my laptop for development and I am looking for an antivirus package since my normal desktop package will not run on 2003. So far all of the ones that I have looked at all require a minimum of 3-5 licenses. This is overkill since I only have one laptop. Does anyone know of any antivirus package (preferably single license) that I could use? Thanks in advance.

AVG's File Server Edition[^] has a minimum of 5 licences, but it's still pretty cheap at $70. At work, we bought AVG Network Edition, which includes both workstation licences and server CALs. I personally prefer AVG to many of the bigger names as it seems to have a lower impact on the system. OK, it doesn't include any built-in disinfection tools - although you can download them[^]. Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder

I have been using etrust antivirus for CA. I have an older version so I am not sure if it is the same but I find it to be the best. I always advice people to get it becuase the updates are simple and it works great. They have a 1-40 user licensce. It sould work on server 2003 but not sure as I have an older version http://shop.digitalriver.com//dr/sat2/ec_MAIN.Entry16?V1=648284&PN=1&SP=10023&xid=40705&V5=31036169&S1=&S2=&S3=&S4=&S5=&V2=&V3=&V4=&DSP=0&CUR=840&PGRP=0&CACHE_ID=0 [^]

There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. We shouldn't assume something's debugged just because everyone in the whole world has access to the source code.
