UML

Does anybody have any suggestions for learning UML? I've gone from an unstructured, shoot-from-the-hip type of programming environment to a professional one. While I'm pleased to actually have specs, a workstation, a chain of command, stringent security requirements, and a framework to use, I am a bit lost when it comes to UML. Where can I learn this information quickly before anyone notices that I don't know it (no, it wasn't a requirement for the job - I just don't want to look dumb). Willl

Several years ago I purchased the book "Teach yourself UML in 24 hours ..." it was a fairly good starting point. You can also find some information here ... Agile Modeling/[^] Another ref: Visual Case Tutorials[^] Search the web for UML Use Case Examples ... you'll find some good reference materials ... Also check out Gentleware[^] for an excellent UML tool. D.
