Here's a quiz for 'yall. Almost fully removed from programming, the question does still have technological influences. When surfing the net, I listen to music. Whenever I scroll, the music 'buzzs' or distorts in some other equally annoying manner. This usually only happens occaisionally, but today it has increased in frequency. Is this because: a) My soundcard just doesn't cut it. b) 64 Mb RAM just isn't enough for todays modern day systems. c) Interference from my monitor d) Windows is crap e) The incessant rain that has been relentlessly pounding my small wooden shack for the past 14 hours. btw, I'm currently listening to 'Bat Out Of Hell', Meatloaf. It is one kickass song. - X

Noise in sound is usually indicative of an IRQ conflict. Also, it never hurts to update your sound card and video drivers to the latest releases. --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/ #include "witty_sig.h" your :bob: with :vegemite: and
