Everytime I fly home, I'm struck by this and I've heard comments from other peoples flying over Quebec.. Pools.. there are everywhere. Can someone tell me if they know of any other place that has the same density of pools ? compare this (be sure to turn satellite image on and zoom in to maximum): Portland,OR[^] Boston[^] and.. Quebec city[^] it does not make any sense... and it's not a canadian thing, here Toronto suburb[^] I cannot find any logical explanation.. There are about a handfull of really hot days during a typical summer, in fact, I have a water heater to keep the water from freezing (I haven't bought the pool, came with the house, as with any other house you might care to buy here, it's as standard as the roof). Come on.. look at the density of pool, a salmon could cross the city jumping from one pool to the other ! I flew over most of Canada and continental US and never seen this anywhere (beside other Quebec cities) Is this unique to this place ? Denevers

Prob'ly has something to do with the density of "Frogs". ;P Absolute faith corrupts as absolutely as absolute power Eric Hoffer The opposite of the religious fanatic is not the fanatical atheist but the gentle cynic who cares not whether there is a god or not. Eric Hoffer
