Hi, When I browse some sites, they automatically add bunch of websites to my favorites menu. Some even add a desktop icon and some add some shortcut their links in the Start menu. How to stop them? thanks Kant Don't say I can't!! ;P

Are you using AOL? I would at least upgrade to the latest version of IE. And be sure to click NO! NO! NO! to everything online.

Get the latest patches for your version of IE. Those sites are exploiting IE bugs to run ActiveX controls w/o restrictions. --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/ While I can't be accurate on all matters, I can make the reassuring claim that where I am inaccurate, I am at least definitively inaccurate. your :bob: with :vegemite: and

Never mind that. How do you stop internet programs from installing themselves to your computer with out even asking and redirecting your browser to random websites you did not even surf to? There aught to be a law.... "No one ever went broke under-estimating human stupidity."
